SMITH (SMITY), MICHAEL

(ANOTHER WANNABE PHONY IN THE ALEXANDRIA/PINEVILLE LOUISIANA AREA)

THIS IS WILLIAM COLLINS' BUDDY, WHO CLAIMS TO HAVE SERVED WITH HIM IN 3 TOURS IN VIETNAM IN 1975. SEE COLLINS . (Click here for what's on Smith's real records). Smith did serve on active duty in the US Air Force for 3 years and two months then transferred to the US Air Force Reserves and served 2 years and 10 months. Later, he join the Louisiana National Guards and served 9 years and 0 months. He has no Valor award. We thank him for his service, but hold him accountable for stealing the valor of the real men who served in real combat conditions.

CLAIMS:

21 YEARS ACTIVE ARMY

5 YEARS GREEN BERETS 17TH GROUP IN VIETNAM (NOTE: COLLINS CLAIMS 13TH AND 15TH SPECIAL FORCES IN VIETNAM) THERE WAS NO 17TH SPECIAL FORCES AND CERTAINLY NOT IN VIETNAM. IF HE AND COLLINS WERE TOGETHER, THEY SHOULD AT LEAST GET THEIR SPECIAL FORCES (GREEN BERET GROUPS) RIGHT.

CAN'T TALK ABOUT SPECIFICS. IN FACT HE AND COLLINS START CRYING WHEN TALKING ABOUT THEIR SERVICE IN VIETNAM. EVERYTHING IS TOP SECRET. HE AND COLLINS HAVE BEEN TELLING VARIATIONS TO THEIR EXPERIENCES FOR YEARS. THEIR FAMILIES ARE TOTALLY CONVINCED THEY ARE FOR REAL BECAUSE THEY HAVE GOT THEIR STORIES DOWN WITH ALL THE STEREOTYPE EMOTIONAL ASPECTS.

QUALIFICATIONS: RIFLE, PISTOL, MACHINE GUN

FURTHER CLAIMS THAT FIVE OF HIS SPECIAL FORCES TEAM MATES WERE GIVEN A SPECIAL AWARD OF THE "BLACK BERET."

SPECIAL OPERATIONS: This Smith (Smity) is not listed as having served in Special Operations. He claims he was not in SOG (Studies and Observation Group) aka Special Operations Group, but SOG is the only Top Secret Special Operations in Vietnam that operated behind enemy lines.

PRISONER OF WAR STATUS:

Any American soldier in the time of war who comes under the control of the enemy, regardless of the length of time is classified as a Prisoner of War. There is no time requirement, 5 minutes, 1 day, or less than 6 months. Anyone making this claim is lying. All individuals that came under enemy control in Vietnam are known and there is a 100% complete list of these and Collins is not listed.
